ZINC OXIDE, 2.8%
Zinc oxide is a natural, physical, inorganic mineral that provides broad spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays. Zinc
oxide works to both complement titanium dioxide’s protection and extend photoprotection to the skin where titanium
dioxide is insucient. Zinc Oxide has been known and used topically for centuries as a skin protectant and wound healing
adjuvant and is a recognized mild antimicrobial agent. It also reflects much of the skin-damaging infrared waves, keeping
the skin cooler, reducing heat damage and its subsequent photoaging.

TITANIUM DIXOIDE, 1.5%
Titanium dioxide is a natural, physical, inorganic mineral that provides broad spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays. The purpose of large particle titanium is to give opacity to the products containing it, and to lighten (or whiten) their
color. Opaque titanium dioxide highly reflects and strongly scatters all UV and visible rays. It also reflects much of the
skin-damaging infrared waves, keeping the skin cooler, reducing heat damage and its subsequent photoaging.

SQUALANE
Used in the synthesis of natural skin sterols essential for maintaining skin barrier function, Squalane, derived from olives,
is a biological component of human sebum and is therefore very skin friendly. It is an excellent moisturizer that does not
leave a heavy, greasy residue on the skin.

PETROLATUM
A rich emollient that helps heal the skin’s outer layer and reduces inflammation.

TETRAHEXYLDECYL ASCROBATE / ESTER OF VITAMIN C (VITAMIN C)
An antioxidant and free radical scavenger. Lightens skin by inhibiting melanin synthesis. A necessary co-factor for healthy
collagen synthesis, inhibits MMP enzymes. THD Ascorbate is an extremely stable and bio-available form of vitamin C
which helps brighten skin and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

FERULIC ACID (FERULOYL SOY GLYCERIDES)
This potent antioxidant, found in plants, increases stability of vitamin C and E as well as adding photo-protection. This
ingredient also provides additional protection against thymine dimmer formation.

ALLANTOIN
A substance known for its healing, soothing, and anti-irritating properties. This ingredient softens skin and stimulates the
formation of healthy tissue. Helps eliminate chapping and cracking, leaving skin silky, smooth, and healthy-looking.

KINETIN
Kinetin is a plant-based hormone that regulates growth and dierentiation. In human skin, kinetin acts as a basic building
block and helps maintain the function and strength of the skin barrier. When used topically, this potent antioxidant has
been shown to increase skin moisture and reduce TEWL (trans-epidermal water loss), thereby improving signs of aging
and skin texture.

Found as a natural component of chamomile, Bisabolol is an eective anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory ingredient,
helpful in soothing red, irritated skin.

RAPESEED (BRASSICA CAMPESTRIS STEROLS) (CHOLESTEROL)
An emollient which makes skin smooth and soft. One of three ingredients that comprise the skin’s natural lipid barrier.

PALMITOYL TETRAPEPTIDE-7
Reduces inflammatory cytokines, known as interleukins. By reducing inflammation, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 may
potentially reduce the cumulative amount of damage that occurs following exposure to UV light, pollution, internal
stress, and other pro-inflammatory factors. Cells exposed to UV radiation and then treated with palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7
saw an 86% reduction of interleukin production.

HYALURONIC ACID (SODIUM HYALURONATE)
A hydrophilic molecule, Hyaluronic acid attracts and binds up to 1,000 times its molecular weight in water, reduces TEWL
(trans-epidermal water loss), and helps to keep skin plump and firm. Sodium Hyaluronate is a glycosaminoglycan found in
the extracellular space that resists compression by absorbing significant amounts of water.

OLEYL LACTATE (ESTER OF LACTIC ACID)
A naturally-occurring alpha hydroxy acid derived from fermented milk, lactic acid helps speed up cellular turnover,
exfoliates dead skin cells, and is gentle enough for people with sensitive skin or rosacea. Since lactic acid is part of our
natural moisturizing factor, it is especially compatible with human skin.

HYDROXYPINACALONE RETINOATE / ESTER OF TRETINOIN (VITAMIN A)
This ester of Retinoic acid (Tretinoin) is more eective and less irritating than traditional esters. A co-factor of collagen
synthesis and a powerful antioxidant, this ingredient helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

GINGER ROOT EXTRACT
Ginger root, rich in antioxidants, can increase skin radiance and decrease inflammation.
